David Bolduc | Benefits Advisor

David joined Thomas Financial in 2024 as an Advisor in the Group Benefits Division. He specializes in providing Captive Insurance solutions to companies with 25-1000 employees to reduce employer costs while capping an employer’s risk exposure over multiple years. 

David began his career as an Underwriter with American International Group (AIG). He later joined Strategic Risk Solutions as a Risk Analyst where he performed several captive insurance feasibility studies. He also helped to manage the day-to-day operations of a Bermuda-based Reinsurance company focused on catastrophe-prone alternative risk transfer insurance programs. After that, he was with the asset management arm of Hanover Insurance Company, where he served as Director of Sales for unaffiliated insurance company asset management. He also served in several institutional asset management roles for Lehman Brothers Asset Management.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from Brown University, where he was also a member of the hockey team. Additionally, he holds Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) designations from the Insurance Institute, and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) investment designation from the CFA Institute.

In terms of community involvement, David has served as a member of the Gulfview Middle School Advisory Committee, served as a member of the City of Naples General Employees’ Pension Board, where he was Vice Chair, and served as a Board Member of Mason Classical Academy.
